Work Experience
Prior to joining Linzer & Associates, P.C., Rachael L. Shinoskie was associated with Morris Polich & Purdy, LLP in their Los Angeles, CA office from July 2008 through late 2010, where she practiced in the areas of commercial litigation, products liability, intellectual property and class action defense. Ms. Shinoskie also negotiated artist contracts and consulted on a variety of intellectual property matters, including counseling clients on the protection of their intellectual property.
Prior to that, Ms. Shinoskie was associated with Santoro, Driggs, Walch, Kearney, Holley & Thompson in their Las Vegas, NV office following graduation from law school until her relocation to Los Angeles to pursue her interests in the areas of art and entertainment law. While at Santoro, Driggs, Ms. Shinoskie’s practice focused on complex commercial litigation and intellectual property matters, with a specialization in the establishment and protection of clients’ intellectual property. She also represented a variety of artists’ interests in contract negotiations and dispute resolutions.
Ms. Shinoskie is admitted to practice in both California and Nevada.
Ms. Shinoskie is currently the Chair of the Young Lawyers Division of the Arts, Entertainment, & Sports Law Section of the American Bar Association; having served as the section’s Vice Chair the preceding year.
Ms. Shinoskie received her J.D. degree from Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at
Arizona State University in 2007, where she was selected to be a Lewis and Roca Scholar. Ms. Shinoskie received a B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ in 2003, where she was a recipient of the prestigious Robert C. Byrd Scholarship.
