Prior to forming Linzer & Associates, P.C., Kenneth A. Linzer was associated with Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, LLP an international law firm with offices in Los Angeles, Orange County, New York, Washington, D.C., Atlanta and Tokyo, Japan, to name just a few cities, from 1984-1992.

Mr. Linzer is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association Sections on Business and Corporations, Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law (past member of Executive Committee), and Litigation; the Beverly Hills Bar Association Sections on Business Law, Trademark and Copyright Law, Entertainment Law, and Litigation; the State Bar of California Sections on Business Law, Intellectual Property and Litigation; and the American Bar Association Sections on Science and Technology Law, Business Law, Entertainment Law, Intellectual Property, and Franchising.  Mr. Linzer is also a Judge Pro Tempore of the Los Angeles and Beverly Hills Municipal Courts.

Mr. Linzer was Editor of the Los Angeles County Bar Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law Section's Annual Symposium on Licensing; the co-author of the American Bar Association's Monograph on Franchise Protection: Laws Against Termination and the Establishment of Additional Franchises (1990); and the co-author of the International Franchise Association's publication, Franchise Law: Practice and Forms (1992).

Mr. Linzer is a frequent lecturer on legal aspects of doing business online, trademark, copyright, entrepreneurship and business law topics at the University of Southern California's Entrepreneur Program, Loyola Marymount University Graduate School of Business Administration, American Women's Economic Development Corporation, Online Expo, and several Small Business Development Centers in the Southern California area.

Mr. Linzer received his J.D. degree from University of San Diego in 1985, graduating magna cum laude, where he was Lead Articles Editor of the Law Review, a Legal Instructor and winner of several Moot Court competitions. Mr. Linzer received a B.S. degree from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts in 1972, graduating cum laude, where he was Chief Justice of the Residence Hall Judiciary Council and a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity.

From 1976-1982 prior to practicing law, Mr. Linzer was a Personnel Manager, Operations Manager and Regional Operations Manager for Macy's New York, a division of R. H. Macy's & Co., and the Broadway Stores, a division of Carter Hawley Hale.

Prior to joining Linzer & Associates, P.C., Mitra S. Ahouraian served as General Counsel of Phoenix Books, Inc, a Beverly Hills based book and audio book publishing house, where she negotiated publishing deals for titles including those by Jim Moret (Inside Edition, CNN), Gene Simmons, Larry King, Bill Maher, Bob Evans, (former) Governor Rod Blagojevich, and Carl Reiner, amongst others.  Prior to that, Ms. Ahouraian focused her entertainment practice on film finance and production legal, most recently on the film Girl Soldier starring Uma Thurman.  Ms. Ahouraian also has extensive experience in music, having helped found an independent record label backed by Grammy Award winning producers and songwriters, for which she handled corporate structuring, 360 recording and production deals with artists, and finance.

Ms. Ahouraian is a member of the State Bar of California Sections on Business Law and Intellectual Property.
 
Ms. Ahouraian is on the Board of the Bel Air Film Festival, where she has chaired the highly acclaimed panel on Independent Film Finance.  An avid writer, Ms. Ahouraian is also a Contributing Editor to Bel Air Magazine, a soon to be launched publication catering to the elite communities of Bel Air and Holmby Hills.

Ms. Ahouraian is also a Member of The Recording Academy (the Grammys) and regularly participates in music panels and events.  She is involved in various charity efforts, including the organization of a benefit concert for the opening of the new building of the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles.

Ms. Ahouraian received her J.D. degree from Loyola Law School in 2006.  She went on to post-graduate studies by obtaining a Specialization in Business and Legal Affairs, with an emphasis in Film from the Entertainment Studies Program at University of California, Los Angeles.

Ms. Ahouraian received a B.S. in Psychobiology from University of California, Los Angeles in 2003, graduating with honors, where she was in UCLA’s Honor Program and on the Deans List for several quarters, was a member of the Pre-Law Society, and Secretary of the Baha’i Club.

Ms. Ahouraian is a Los Angeles native and attended Marymount High School, and University Elementary School at U.C.L.A. prior to her graduate studies.
